What a visit looks like
You arrive, meet your child's matched teacher, and your child has a thirty-minute lesson in one of the teaching rooms. Parents are welcome to watch. Afterwards we talk honestly about whether the instrument suits your child and what we would recommend.

What it is
A Kara studio for families in east Surabaya, so lessons fit around school and work without a drive across the city.

Families across east Surabaya who want a fixed weekly lesson close to home.
What a visit looks like
The trial works exactly as it does at our main campus. You meet the teacher, your child plays for thirty minutes, and you are welcome to watch. Tell us the instrument you are interested in when you book, and we will confirm what is taught at this studio.
Jakarta

Pluit, Jakarta
What it is
Our Jakarta studio, in Pluit. It brings Kara lessons to Jakarta families without the flight to Surabaya.
Who it serves
Families in north Jakarta and the surrounding area who want lessons in person rather than on a screen.
What a visit looks like
Book a trial and tell us which instrument your child is curious about. We confirm what is available at Pluit before you travel, so the visit is worth the journey. The lesson itself runs for thirty minutes, and parents are welcome to watch.

Live, one to one, from wherever you are
What it is
A live lesson with a Kara teacher, one to one. Not a recording and not a group call. The same private lesson, delivered to your home.
Who it serves
Students anywhere in Indonesia, including families outside Surabaya and Jakarta, and families who would rather skip the commute.
What a visit looks like
We arrange your trial at a time that suits you and tell you how to join beforehand. Your child needs their instrument at home, a quiet corner and a steady connection.
No commute
The lesson starts when your child sits down. No traffic, no parking, no time lost either side of the lesson.
Reach beyond the cities
Live tuition from the same academy, with a fixed weekly slot, wherever in Indonesia you live.
Parents hear everything
You are in the next room, or beside your child, and can follow the lesson as it happens.

The practical questions parents ask
Whichever studio you choose, a few things are the same everywhere.
Parking
Arrangements differ by studio. When you book your trial we tell you where to park at your chosen location, so there is no guessing on the day.
Waiting area
Parents who bring their child are welcome to wait on site. We confirm the waiting space at your chosen studio when you book.
Can parents sit in?
Yes for the trial lesson. You are welcome to watch, so you can see how your child and the teacher work together. For regular lessons, Kara admin will explain the arrangement at your studio.
Scheduling and payment
At every location, and online, all scheduling and payment goes through Kara admin. Your lesson time is set with admin, never arranged with a teacher directly.
